Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recently experienced a resurgence of investor interest as new positive money flows were observed at the end of August. According to data from SosoValue, a platform that tracks market-related data for crypto assets, a net inflow of $146,020 was recorded on August 24, following a $654,420 inflow on August 20. These figures mark a shift from a prolonged period of zero entries, signaling a possible change in the trend.
What’s Behind the Positive Shift?
The recent influx broke a pattern of stagnant flow that was evident in recent weeks. After an entry of $82,640 on August 4, the following six days witnessed no activity, leading to a significant net outflow of $568,840 on August 13, followed by more zero-flow days. The positive entries on August 20 and 24 suggest a weakening of that cycle, at least temporarily.
Will This Resurgence Continue?
For the trend to be considered sustainable, a longer and uninterrupted series of inflows is necessary. During the period of August 20 to August 24, two trading days reported positive inflows, hinting at gradually returning interest. ETF transactions do not occur over the weekend, thus Saturdays and Sundays are excluded from the computations.
The Dogecoin price, around the same time, experienced a brief rally, rising from $0.069 on August 19 to reach close to $0.10 within five days. However, this level could not be overcome, and a quick price pullback followed, indicating that $0.10 remains a strong resistance point in the short term.
During the increase, Dogecoin’s price surpassed key daily moving averages for the first time since late 2025. Yet, a recent downturn places Dogecoin once more near a critical threshold, hovering just above the 200-day moving average at $0.089.
- A net inflow of $654,420 was recorded on August 20.
- On August 24, an additional inflow of $146,020 was observed.
- Dogecoin’s price faced resistance at the $0.10 level.
- The price currently struggles to maintain the $0.089 level.
The recent sales pressure in the market has been influenced by profit-taking alongside significant moves such as Cleancore’s strategic decision. The company decided to divest $33.4 million in DOGE to finance its new AI-focused direction, increasing short-term risk evaluation among investors.
Dogecoin recently fell by 3.24% to $0.0898, and if the selling force continues, the price might trend towards the 50-day moving average at $0.073. Conversely, if it remains above $0.089, the market could stabilize further.
