Following recent declines, prominent cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, NEAR, XRP, and Shiba Inu are battling to sustain at critical technical levels. Bitcoin is currently balancing just above the $82,949 mark, with NEAR lagging below its crucial resistance of $4.79. Both XRP and Shiba Inu are attempting to maintain their positions near significant averages.
Bitcoin and NEAR Overview
Bitcoin’s price saw a downturn from the $87,000 range, plummeting to $80,300 before making a slight recovery. This recovery near the 20-day average of $80,700 underscores a lingering bullish sentiment. The 50-day moving average stands at $79,800, while the 100-day and 200-day averages are settled at $75,900 and $75,200, respectively.
Despite failing twice to break past $87,000, holding above $80,000 indicates that buyers have not entirely lost control.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) dipping to 45 indicates a cool-down after a period of excessive heat in August and September. Nevertheless, the decline was accompanied by the highest trading volume in weeks, suggesting active selling. After rallying from $63,000 to $87,000 since August, a close above $85,000 might reignite challenges at $87,000. A drop below $80,000 could bring $79,800 and then $77,000 into focus.
NEAR Protocol, recognized for enabling scalable applications, is trading around $4.79 following recent turbulence. Despite a dramatic rise from $1.60 in late August to $5.60 in September, topping a 250% increase, it failed to close above this level on three occasions.
Recently, NEAR descended to $4.44 before rebounding, with buying at approximately $4.35 aligning with the 20-day average, hinting that the bullish structure isn’t entirely broken. With the RSI moderating around the mid-50s, there’s potential for a new upward move. However, without a daily close above $5.00, surging toward $5.60 seems challenging. Short-term trading is likely to stabilize between $4.35 and $5.60.
Positioning of XRP and SHIB
XRP, currently at $1.38, clings to its 200-day moving average, a decisive indicator for short-term direction. Although it dipped below the 20 and 50-day averages during the recent fall, a prompt reaction saw demand emerging near the 100-day average of $1.335, reinforcing buyer interest.
The $1.33 to $1.40 range is critical for determining XRP’s short-term trajectory.
While the RSI hovers at 42, implying weak momentum, it hasn’t entered the oversold zone. Low volume suggests neither buyers nor sellers have taken the helm. Should the price close above $1.40, levels around $1.45 and $1.50 are likely to be tested again. Should the 200-day average falter, $1.33 and then $1.25 could surface as key supports.
Shiba Inu trades near $0.00000536, positioned below the 200-day average after selling pressure from the $0.00000600 region. This breakdown increased selling velocity, with the 100-day average at $0.00000529 witnessing transient support before the price touched $0.00000510, sparking limited recovery.
SHIB sees its RSI near 45, indicating a neutral to slightly weak outlook. Tepid volume during buying signals a lukewarm return of buyers. The near-term averages between $0.00000545 and $0.00000548, alongside the 200-day average at $0.00000565, pose resistance. Should $0.00000529 support break, $0.00000500 followed by $0.00000470 could be targeted.
- Bitcoin’s persistence above $80,000 suggests buyers still influence its trajectory.
- NEAR’s potential for recovery hinges on crossing $5.00 with strong volume.
- XRP’s future depends on sustaining above $1.33 while seeking bullish momentum.
- SHIB is in a neutral space, requiring increased buyer interest for substantial recovery.
These market conditions indicate volatility, highlighting the significance of key technical levels for each asset. Traders and investors should remain vigilant, considering these pivot points for their strategies amidst the fluctuating cryptocurrency landscape.
