Crypto analyst Nicholas Merten has broadcasted his bullish outlook for four specific altcoins, predicting a substantial surge in their value. In a recent video, Merten discussed the potential for Stellar (XLM), Aave (AAVE), Compound (COMP), and Uniswap (UNI). He identified these digital currencies as promising investments, ready to make notable strides in the market.
Stellar’s XLM Poised for 200% Growth
Merten kicked off his forecast with XLM, the native cryptocurrency of the Stellar payment network, which he believes could triple its value against Bitcoin. He notes that XLM’s current trading range signifies a bargain compared to Ripple‘s XRP and sees a climb from 0.00000200 BTC to 0.00000600 BTC as a realistic target.
DeFi Tokens AAVE, COMP, and UNI Undervalued
Turning his attention to DeFi, Merten considers AAVE, COMP, and UNI to be significantly undervalued. He suggests that Aave is showing signs of an uptrend with considerable room for growth. Compound’s COMP token, despite being lower than its peak from 2021, is acknowledged for its strong market presence and underpinnings. Merten also commends Uniswap’s UNI for its robust position within the DeFi arena.
Further, the analyst contends that the ascending trajectory of Ethereum’s ETH could act as a propellant, potentially spurring further appreciation in the value of these DeFi-based altcoins. Merten’s optimistic projections align with Ethereum’s impressive performance, which has seen a more than 65% price increase since the year’s start, despite trading below $3,900 at the time of reporting.
