Gate Exchange Accused of Creating Fake Trading Volume for RATS Altcoin

The significant increase in trading volume of the RATS altcoin on the Gate exchange has caught the attention of market participants. The Rats community claims that this increase in volume is not real and has been artificially created.

According to the Rats community, Gate exchange has created fake trading volume for the altcoin. In response to this situation, the community announced a boycott movement against the cryptocurrency exchange on X platform (formerly known as Twitter).

Following Gate’s listing announcement for RATS, there was a sharp increase in the price of the altcoin. The price of RATS, which was 0.000051 dollars before the listing, reached 0.000087 dollars after the listing. This change corresponds to a 70% increase in the price of the altcoin. According to the latest data, RATS is currently trading at 0.00006441 dollars with a 20.14% decline in the last 24 hours. The accusation of fake trading volume once again triggered a decrease in the altcoin’s price.

RATS is a token built on the Bitcoin (BTC) Blockchain using the BRC-20 protocol. It stands out as an animal-themed token named after the most common mammal species on our planet.
