The cryptocurrency landscape is witnessing a notable shift as Shiba Inu (SHIB) experiences a price uptick coupled with relative stability in exchange activities. Currently trading around $0.00000592, SHIB has seen an influx of approximately 20 billion tokens in net exchange balance over the last 24 hours. This situation underscores the absence of immediate upward pressure in selling dynamics.
Exchange Dynamics Showcase a Balanced Flow
Market data highlights the importance of monitoring the net flow of tokens entering and exiting exchanges. While Shiba Inu saw roughly 623.3 billion tokens entering exchanges, 449.8 billion tokens were withdrawn. Despite the high volumes on both sides, the total reserves held in exchanges remained at 87.83 trillion SHIB, with only a 0.2% change in the past day.
Although exchange movement remains significant, a substantial accumulation of SHIB in trading platforms is not evident.
This differentiation is crucial given that assets deposited into exchanges often signal potential short-term selling liquidity. The restricted growth in available sell-side liquidity, paired with a concurrent price recovery, presents a more constructive outlook.
Recovery Signals in Price Structure
Shiba Inu has demonstrated significant improvement from its summer lows, with technical charts indicating an encouraging trajectory. After dropping to approximately $0.0000041 in July, SHIB climbed higher, crossing the $0.0000055 mark. A recent rally briefly pushed it above $0.0000062, followed by a resurgence in volatility.
Crucially, SHIB has managed to position itself above its long-term moving average, a band between $0.0000056 and $0.0000057, which previously served as resistance. Maintaining above this level is pivotal for the sustainability of the recovery trend.
Market Risks Center on Exchange Inflows
Momentum indicators do not yet suggest an overheated market. The daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovers in the low 60s, indicating SHIB is not fully within the traditional overbought territory. Near-term focus remains on the $0.0000060 to $0.0000063 range, and surpassing this could bring the May highs of $0.0000065 to $0.0000067 back into view.
Despite positive net flows, the recent movement appears limited compared to SHIB’s circulating supply and exchange reserves.
The primary risk spotlight falls on accelerated token inflows into exchanges. Although the current net flow remains positive, this does not necessarily indicate robust accumulation. Nevertheless, with the latest net movements appearing modest relative to total supply and exchange reserves, the current price pattern provides a stronger signal. Unless there is a substantial expansion in exchange balances, the recovery trajectory could persist.
