In the midst of a sustained sell-off in the cryptocurrency market, seasoned analyst Ali Martinez has spotlighted crucial price levels for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. Martinez, renowned for his technical analysis shared on social media, delved into the current chart structures of these assets, outlining pivotal zones that could come into play should sellers maintain their grip on the market.
Bitcoin Targets $73,000 Amidst Volatility
Martinez highlights that Bitcoin is trading within a defined channel on a three-day chart, with the mid-band level at $73,000 acting as a pivotal threshold. Should Bitcoin break below this level, the analyst indicates that the next area of interest would be around the channel’s lower boundary, approximately $60,000. This scenario could potentially see Bitcoin retreat to levels unseen since July.
Ali Martinez notes that if Bitcoin fails to hold $73,000, he is closely watching the $60,000 area near the channel’s lower limit.
Currently, Bitcoin’s price hovers just below $75,808, marking $60,000 as a critical support level should further declines materialize. Such a downward trajectory would signify a significant pullback, retracing gains made earlier in the year.
Ethereum Shows Signs of Weakening
Turning to Ethereum, Martinez observes an evident downside on the daily chart. The digital asset has broken out of an ascending broadening formation, rendering the $2,385 level an unreliable support. Martinez warns that persistent selling pressure might drive Ethereum’s price towards $1,963, a lower target amid prevailing market dynamics.
At the time of the analysis, Ethereum was trading around $2,227, with the $1,963 region identified as the next line of defense on Martinez’s chart. This downward trend underscores growing bearish sentiment as Ethereum grapples with sustaining its technical positions.
XRP Testing Key Support Levels
XRP finds itself navigating a channel structure, having slipped below a central support area recently. Martinez’s focus now turns to the channel’s lower rim near $0.99, positioning this value as a potential support region. He emphasizes, however, that this does not guarantee a definitive bottom for the asset.
Martinez identifies the $0.99 level as a possible support zone for XRP, cautioning against assuming it as a guaranteed low.
XRP’s current trading price is approximately $1.10, with the middle range, around $1.19, failing to hold as a support. This aligns with recent concerns voiced by other analysts who predict a potential dip below the $1 mark.
No Concrete Bottoms yet, Says Analyst
Martinez stresses that the highlighted levels should not be regarded as definitive bottoms. He acknowledges the crypto market’s inherent volatility and underscores the importance of observing whether buyers step in to defend these zones before drawing any concrete conclusions.
As Bitcoin continues to test its critical threshold, Ethereum’s break becomes more pronounced. Meanwhile, for XRP, the loss of its mid-range support has placed the $0.99 level at the forefront of short-term investor watchlists.
