XRP might experience a short-term recovery, yet a more substantial upward trajectory seems uncertain, according to expert analyst CredIBULL Crypto. The analyst cautions that the prevailing risk skews downward, with the cryptocurrency potentially searching for new lows.
Short-Term Bounce Unlikely to Alter XRP’s Broader Outlook
CredIBULL Crypto, through an X platform analysis, argued that XRP’s rise from approximately $1 to $1.70 shouldn’t be misconstrued as a sustainable breakout. The analyst suggests that this movement merely indicates a shift from the lower to the upper bounds within a well-established trading range.
The analyst highlighted delays in desired XRP updates, providing a concise framework for holders and active traders.
Setting $1.80 as a crucial threshold, CredIBULL Crypto observes the $1.94 demand zone as a potential retesting area. Over the past eight to nine months, XRP has fluctuated within this range, leading the expert to contend that ascending movements alone do not confirm a new bullish cycle.
Furthermore, the analyst notes that lower levels have yet to be reached in the XRP/BTC and XRP/ETH pairs, indicating untested minimum targets. This suggests a potential 20% further decline for the XRP/BTC pair and at least a 10% pullback in the XRP/ETH pair.
Sub-$1 Targets in Core Outlook
In the XRP/USD pair, CredIBULL Crypto anticipates at least a 20% decline. The analyst sees the sub-$1 area as a possible target, forecasting a dip to $0.90 to form a longer-term bottom. CredIBULL Crypto is a prominent market commentator known for wave analysis-based insights and has garnered a significant following on social media.
The analyst cautions that, even if XRP surges towards $1.80, it may spur optimism without definitively breaking the current trading range.
Bitcoin Outlook Supports Temporary XRP Upside
Despite a cautious stance, the analyst does not dismiss a short-term surge. A local bottom within the current demand zone might propel XRP to the upper range limit, supported by expectations related to Bitcoin‘s performance.
CredIBULL Crypto anticipates Bitcoin could tap into liquidity above its current range, recovering towards $90,000. In such a scenario, simultaneous rises in XRP and Ethereum might occur. However, if Bitcoin faces rejection around $90,000, XRP could suffer a steeper drop, potentially bottoming around the $0.90 demand zone.
Long-Term Prospect Remains Optimistic
While maintaining caution in the short to mid-term, the analyst remains optimistic about XRP’s long-term trajectory. According to his analysis, XRP previously reached $3.68, surpassing earlier peaks, and the current correction is considered a routine phase following that surge.
CredIBULL Crypto predicts that XRP might initiate a robust upward phase after establishing a higher low above the prior macro dip of approximately $0.50. He forecasts this process could eventually propel the price above $3.80, even reaching double digits over time. Nonetheless, he acknowledges that achieving levels beyond $20 will require significant duration.
