Pyth Network Enhances Hedera’s Financial Ecosystem
The launch by Pyth Network marks an important step for the Hedera ecosystem, with the network offering a vast range of price feeds that cover various asset classes including cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities. This oracle system is designed to provide Hedera developers and participants with the most current price information, contributing to the innovation of financial instruments within the network.
First Integrations and Network Contributions
As the first to benefit from the integration, HLiquity, a decentralized borrowing protocol on Hedera, will utilize Pyth Data to manage loans against Hedera’s native token, HBAR. This integration exemplifies the application of Pyth Network’s data in maintaining the integrity and stability of financial protocols on the platform.
Besides the recent rollout, Pyth Network had previously launched price feeds for 13 Bitcoin ETFs, enhancing opportunities for DeFi platforms to broaden investment choices and attract institutional investments. Moreover, Hedera’s Governing Council has earmarked approximately $408 million worth of HBAR tokens to foster network growth and governance, signaling a strong commitment to bolstering Hedera’s foundation and ecosystem.
