Wormhole will issue its W token in both ERC20 and SPL formats, covering five different networks: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. The initial circulating supply of W tokens is set at 1.8 billion, with a cap of 10 billion tokens. A total of 617,305,000 W tokens, equating to 6.17% of the total supply, will be distributed across 397,704 wallets.
Further allocation includes 500 million W tokens reserved for active users across the Wormhole ecosystem’s 30+ blockchains. Community members, including those in Wormhole’s Discord, various NFT communities, the Monad community, and Pyth stakers, will collectively receive approximately 117,305,000 W tokens.
