Ethereum and Chainlink are among the top-performing altcoins in the daily timeframe. Meanwhile, Bitcoin continues to trade at these levels after its movement above $39,000 in recent days.
With the constant pressure from bulls, Bitcoin reached a price of $40,000, resulting in the liquidation of millions of dollars worth of short positions.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading approximately $500 below the $40,000 level, with a market value surpassing $770 billion and a market dominance of 52%.
Chainlink’s LINK token became the highest-performing altcoin with a 7% increase in the past 24 hours, surpassing $15 in market value. The price of LINK is trading above $16 with a limited 2.5% increase in the past 24 hours.
Another high market value altcoin, Ethereum, also showed significant gains in the past 24 hours, with its price trading above $2,150 with an increase of over 3%. On the other hand, tokens such as XRP, SOL, ADA, DOGE, TON, and DOT experienced limited gains in the green zone, while BNB, TRX, and AVAX traded in the red zone and incurred limited losses.
