What Is the Total Amount of FTX Donations?

The U.S. government is seeking to reclaim $13.25 million in donations directed to pro-Democratic PACs and liberal groups prior to the downfall of FTX. These donations were made by Bankman-Fried and Singh.

Which PACs Are Involved in the Negotiations?

The negotiations involve several PACs, including Future Forward PAC, which received $1 million from Singh and $5 million from Bankman-Fried, GMI PAC with $2 million, and Senate Majority PAC and Women Vote, both receiving $2 million and $2.25 million, respectively. Discussions are ongoing regarding the return of these funds or potential penalties.

Nishad Singh, a close associate of Bankman-Fried, has been sentenced to home confinement and three years of supervised release in connection with the investigations. His cooperation in testifying against Bankman-Fried was a significant factor in this leniency.
