The cryptocurrency exchange has introduced spot trading for POL across a variety of pairs including POL/BNB, POL/BRL, POL/BTC, POL/ETH, POL/EUR, POL/FDUSD, POL/JPY, POL/TRY, POL/USDC, and POL/USDT. Trading for these pairs commenced on September 13, 2024. To further enhance trading options, Binance plans to activate Trading Bots and Spot Copy Trading within 24 hours of the spot trading launch, allowing users to integrate POL pairs into their trading strategies.

The switch from MATIC coin to POL coin is executed at a 1:1 exchange rate, where 1 MATIC is swapped for 1 POL coin. Additionally, those still holding the old MATIC coins can convert them to POL using Binance’s conversion feature, though withdrawing old MATIC coins is no longer supported after the upgrade.
