The allocation of capital within the U.S. spot crypto ETF market is becoming increasingly transparent, with Bitcoin decidedly dominating the space. Current fund data reveals Bitcoin’s unrivaled leading position, while XRP has emerged with a formidable stance among altcoin-focused products. Although Solana-based products boast more funds, XRP has taken the lead in the latest flow data.

Bitcoin’s Dominance in the ETF Market

The total net assets of spot Bitcoin ETFs have reached a staggering $110.68 billion, representing 6.54% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization. Cumulative net inflows stand at $57.84 billion, with an inflow of $118.86 million recorded on the most recent trading day. The daily trading volume is approximately $1.84 billion.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs hold the largest market share with a net asset of $110.68 billion, capturing the majority of institutional capital.

Bitcoin continues to reign as the largest crypto asset by market value, a status bolstered by its substantial ETF presence. Recently, Bitcoin was trading around $84,100. Following a retreat from the $86,000 to $87,000 range, short-term momentum weakened, with $83,000 acting as near-term support. Falling below this level could bring the short-term rising average around $82,000 back into focus.

XRP Shines in Altcoin ETFs

XRP-centric spot ETFs have amassed a total of $1.70 billion in net assets, with cumulative inflows of $1.80 billion. The latest trading day saw inflows of $3.14 million, while the total inflows over the past 30 days amounted to $112.01 million. This data indicates sustained investor interest in XRP among altcoin ETFs.

The price of XRP, however, has retracted to approximately $1.47 after failing to maintain its surge beyond $1.50. In the short term, $1.45 is being observed as a key threshold, while the $1.38 to $1.40 range emerges as a stronger support level.

While XRP products lag far behind Bitcoin in absolute size, they exhibit a stronger performance against Solana and similar altcoin products in flow metrics.

Solana and Other Products Show Limited Growth

Despite the existence of nine Solana ETFs, their total asset size remains around $1.93 billion. With cumulative net inflows of $1.59 billion and a $3.68 million outflow on the latest trading day, Solana products present a weaker short-term outlook compared to XRP’s positive flows.

Other altcoin-focused products are much smaller in scope. Zcash ETFs have around $789 million, Hyperliquid products hold $507 million, Chainlink products contain $236 million, and BNB-focused funds have approximately $102 million in net assets. Hyperliquid is noted as a leading project in the decentralized derivatives space.

The data suggests that spot ETF demand does not eliminate short-term price volatility. Nevertheless, the majority of institutional capital remains concentrated in Bitcoin, with XRP emerging as one of the strongest products in the altcoin ETF segment, surpassing Solana in certain flow indicators.
