The cryptocurrency market continues to experience a selling pressure, with key digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and BNB trading near significant technical levels. As of October 30, Bitcoin is at $76,650, Ethereum at $2,222.59, XRP at $1.2352, and BNB at $696.43. These price positions indicate a weakening in short-term buyer interest.
Bitcoin Holds Slightly Above Critical Threshold
Bitcoin has sharply declined after being rejected between the $81,000 and $82,000 range, leading it to retest the 200-day moving average within the $76,400 to $76,600 band. This area is under close watch as it could determine the broader market direction. A daily close below $76,000 could bring back attention to $74,000 and $72,000 levels.
Bitcoin’s short-term outlook hinges on whether it can maintain its position above the 200-day average.
For an upward recovery, it is crucial for Bitcoin to reconquer the $78,000 mark initially. Above this level lies a stronger sell zone between $80,000 and $82,000. The rise in trading volume suggests that the decline is not faced with weak participation.
Ethereum and XRP Under Continued Pressure
Ethereum fell below $2,300 after reversing from the $2,350 to $2,400 range. The asset is now attempting to hold between $2,170 and $2,200. Failure to sustain this area could see it testing $2,100 and subsequently the $2,000 benchmark. To ease the selling pressure, a move above $2,300 is considered essential.
XRP has also faced intensified selling pressure after slipping below $1.30. Following a correction that began after its September rally to $1.60, the price now approaches a support area between $1.20 and $1.22. A breach of this zone could lead to $1.15 and $1.10 levels being observed.
XRP remains challenged below $1.30, maintaining a short-term seller’s advantage.
BNB’s Critical Level Emerges at $690
BNB has started to form lower peaks after reaching an October high of $810. The latest drop has pushed the price below the 100-day average, located around $707, and it is nearing the $690 level. A close below this could spotlight $680 as the first support.
BNB experienced a robust rise from its July lows to its October peak. However, the recent pullback indicates a weakening of this momentum. If no rebound occurs between $680 and $690, the $650 level may again come into focus. Conversely, surpassing $710 could alleviate short-term pressure.
Overall Market Shows Continued Weakness
The overarching theme among these major assets is their dip below short-term averages, accompanied by increased selling volume. This indicates a maintained cautious stance in the market. Bitcoin’s movement over a long-term average could play a decisive role in the direction of other key cryptocurrencies.
Moreover, the broad sell-off in digital assets is further clouded by uncertainty stemming from significant security concerns surrounding Binance. During this uncertain period, trader reactions to crucial support levels will be pivotal in determining near-term pricing dynamics.
