He revealed significant strides for the Midnight ecosystem, detailing how users can expect to develop unique digital agents. This aligns with a broader vision to enhance user capabilities within Midnight City. Additionally, Hogan’s launch is anticipated soon as a Bitcoin-based DeFi project.
Important upcoming milestones include the rollout of the Leo testnet aimed for June 23. Community participation in this testing phase is highly encouraged. During these phases, the Dust token will play a critical role in facilitating transactions, with a clear focus on system stability and feature enhancement.
Marketing Gambit with SpaceX Pulled
Plans for a high-profile marketing campaign in collaboration with SpaceX have been shelved. The ambitious endeavor aimed to spotlight Cardano and Midnight in a space-themed portrayal, featuring community participation in astronaut training. However, financial barriers rendered the project impractical. Hoskinson commented on this, noting budget constraints in upcoming market conditions.
The envisioned campaign’s expenses exceeded feasible limits under the predicted economic landscape of 2024-2025, according to Hoskinson.
Discussions on integrating the dropped initiative with partner projects like Lace or Midnight City continue. On the governance front, Hoskinson identified a need for Cardano to implement structural shifts, improving proposal assessments with tangible economic benefits. While proposals related to Midnight and Strike have faced challenges, community-endorsed projects remain a possibility.
