Crypto investors should be prepared for news of a cyber attack, the full details of which have not yet been clarified. Sushi’s CTO, Matthew Lilley, indicated that there was an issue with their DeFi protocols and that the problem was more widespread. Warnings are also being made concerning the Ledger code library.

According to announcements from various sources, a security vulnerability that affects many dApps and allows the injection of malicious code has been detected. Popular protocols are at risk due to an issue in the Ledger code library. Claims of a breach in the Web3 connector have been confirmed by expert accounts in the field.

Sushi’s CTO Matthew Lilley advised against interacting with dApps and stated that a widely used Web3 connector had been compromised, making many dApps vulnerable to malicious code injection.

Lilley pointed out that the source of the suspicious code originated from hardware wallet provider Ledger’s GitHub page. A user by the name of X wrote that Ledger’s library had been breached. At this stage, a warning was issued that connecting your wallet to protocols including Revoke could be quite risky.
