In the cryptocurrency market, NEAR, XRP, Zcash, and Shiba Inu are navigating shorter-term directional uncertainties. The latest technical overview suggests continued pressure on NEAR, XRP, and SHIB, while Zcash maintains a comparatively stable position.
NEAR Retreats After Rally, Eyes Critical Support
After rallying in September, NEAR entered a corrective phase. The asset climbed from around $1.80 in October to a peak of $5.90 but soon lost momentum, leading to the formation of lower highs. Recently, NEAR has been trading near $4.10, remaining below its short-term moving averages.
The range of $4.40 to $4.50 is under close scrutiny as it previously acted as a support zone. Meanwhile, the broader trend shows NEAR holding above its 100-day and 200-day moving averages, indicating the primary bullish structure is not entirely compromised.
A daily close below $4 in NEAR could accelerate selling towards the 100-day average.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has slipped to the 40-45 range, reflecting waning momentum and signaling that the oversold zone is not yet clearly in sight. Key levels to watch lie below at $4.00, $3.80, and $3.60.
XRP Faces Resistance Below $1.35
XRP attempted a recovery nearing $1.60 in October but has since lost strength. The subsequent pullback has resulted in lower highs and lows, with XRP currently trading around $1.25 and positioned beneath all major moving averages on the daily chart.
The $1.30 to $1.35 area is critical, having previously served as a sideways trading range. XRP’s failure to secure a foothold above this range indicates weakness. Although it has stabilized somewhat around $1.24 to $1.25, insufficient trading volume suggests buyers have yet to return with conviction.
XRP’s short-term outlook remains weak as long as prices stay below $1.35.
The RSI is positioned between 35 and 40, evidencing persistent selling pressure and highlighting $1.20 as the first level of support. Below this, $1.15 and $1.10 could emerge as potential areas of interest.
Zcash Holds Steady Range, Shiba Inu Exposed to Pressure
Since its strong ascent in September, Zcash has moved in a horizontal band between $1,150 and $1,350. It has been attempting to hold steady around $1,250, though sustaining levels above $1,300 has been elusive. Nonetheless, trading above its long-term moving averages suggests its broader structure remains intact.
In contrast, Shiba Inu is under more pronounced pressure. The price has slipped below the ascending support line observed since August, trading around $0.00000464 beneath all major moving averages. Despite a modest stabilization following the latest decline, low trading volume signals a lack of decisive recovery.
For SHIB, the first major support is at $0.00000450, with further levels at $0.00000430 and $0.00000410. To initiate a stronger upward reaction, it needs to cross $0.00000520 again. For Zcash, closures above $1,350 could reinforce its recovery outlook.
