Recent market activities saw Bitcoin’s price momentarily dip below $61,000, touching $60,774 on Binance. Analysts had previously indicated that a sustained drop beneath $68,000 might prompt the support level of $60,000 to be tested—a prediction that has indeed played out. Nonetheless, the latest uptick has renewed investor confidence.
Data from investment firm Farside highlights that GBTC experienced its lowest outflows this past Wednesday. With Bitcoin’s price increase, there’s an anticipation of a spike in buying interest for ETFs once the US markets begin trading, potentially leading to further gains in cryptocurrency values.
MicroStrategy’s Impact and Altcoin Performance
As the US market opening draws near, predictions for the cryptocurrency market are growing increasingly optimistic. Contributing to this outlook is MicroStrategy’s substantial accumulation of Bitcoin, now holding approximately 1% of its total supply, which suggests a tightening in available supply for sale. In the meantime, altcoins such as FLOKI, STX, RUNE, and PEPE Coin have seen a 20% rise in their values.
Turning the spotlight to other significant gainers on the Binance platform, TRU and ETHFI Coin have posted impressive increases of 46% and 35%, respectively.
