In the cryptocurrency market, the short-term outlook for Chainlink, XRP, Monero, and Zcash is beginning to diverge. Chainlink is trading around $11.40, XRP at $1.31, Monero at $636, and Zcash at $1,309. Of the four, Monero is presenting the strongest outlook, while Chainlink and XRP continue to seek direction. Meanwhile, Zcash has moved towards a more balanced scenario following a period of volatility.
Chainlink and XRP Strive for Recovery Amidst Market Fluctuations
Chainlink experienced a pullback after its relatively robust performance in September and October. In late September, LINK reached a local peak at around $15.50, but has since posted lower highs, indicating a weakening bullish momentum in the short term.
The price has been trading below both short and medium-term moving averages, suggesting continued seller influence. Recently, support was tested in the $11.00 to $11.10 range. If this level is maintained, LINK might attempt a recovery towards the $12 threshold. Failure to hold above $11 could lead to declines towards $10.50 or even $10.
Chainlink faces potential consolidation between $11 and $12, but a daily close above $12 could reinvigorate its short-term outlook.
XRP, meanwhile, has rebounded from its recent low of around $1.23 to $1.31. After a robust move from $1.00 to $1.50 in August, the cryptocurrency formed a new local peak near $1.60 in September, though bearish trends followed. Recent price action shows modest buying interest.
XRP is observing first-line support within the $1.28 to $1.30 band. Sustaining above this area could pave the way for retests of $1.33 to $1.35. Breaching $1.35 might open targets of $1.38 to $1.40. Conversely, if buying interest wanes, the risk of a drop below $1.25 remains.
Monero Maintains Strength as Zcash Seeks Stability
Monero stands out with the strongest momentum among the cryptocurrencies analyzed. XMR has nearly doubled, rising from around $310 in July to the $630 region. Known for its privacy-centric features that obscure transaction details, Monero continues to hold above all key moving averages, supporting its uptrend.
Despite a brief correction towards $520 in October, prices soon reclaimed the $620 level. As long as Monero stays above $600, buyers are likely in control. If sustained movement occurs above $650, the next target is $680.
If Monero remains above $600, buyer dominance may continue, and surpassing $650 could create new upside potential.
In contrast, Zcash has exhibited a more volatile trajectory. Starting from around $500 in August, it climbed sharply to $1,670 by late September before retreating to the $1,100 zone. Recent security concerns have further exacerbated these fluctuations.
Despite this, ZEC remains above medium and long-term moving averages on its daily chart. Strong resistance is seen at the $1,300 and $1,350 levels, with $1,250 as the initial support and $1,200 as the critical threshold below. Due to limited trading volumes, a pronounced breakout appears less likely short-term, with horizontal consolidation more prevalent.
