Despite Bitcoin‘s price dropping below $84,000, U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continue to attract substantial investments. Data from SoSoValue revealed that on September 23, these funds experienced a net inflow of $347 million, marking the fifth consecutive day of investment influx into spot Bitcoin ETFs.

BlackRock’s Dominance

A notable entry was seen in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust on that day. With a significant net inflow of approximately $166 million, this fund alone captured nearly half of the overall daily investment. As one of the world’s largest asset management firms, BlackRock stands as a leading player in the digital assets fund sector.

BlackRock’s IBIT fund secured about $166 million in net inflows on September 23, constituting nearly half of the day’s total.

Simultaneously, spot Ether ETFs in the U.S. also saw an investment inflow of $105 million. BlackRock’s ETHA fund attracted $50.8 million of that, indicating a continued interest from investors in Ethereum alongside Bitcoin.

Did the Week See Higher Investments?

Indeed, the influx of capital earlier in the week was even more impressive. On September 17, spot Bitcoin ETFs received $159.5 million, followed by a surge of $433 million on September 18. September 21, however, marked a pivotal day.

That day, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs witnessed an inflow of $998.95 million, recording the most significant single-day investment in nearly 11 months. IBIT led with $381.4 million, while ARK and 21Shares’ ARKB fund followed with $289.1 million, and Fidelity’s FBTC fund attracted $238.8 million.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced $998.95 million in inflows on September 21, reaching the highest daily level in about 11 months.

Continued Interest Despite Price Drops?

On September 22, these funds received another $714.75 million, with IBIT again leading at $350.3 million. MSBT, associated with Morgan Stanley, also made an impact with a $99 million inflow.

  • Even with Bitcoin’s decline below $84,000, the $347 million inflow on September 23 remained significant.
  • This continued interest suggests that institutional appetite for investment tools persists regardless of price pressures.
  • The rebound in the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market is notable after a challenging period in 2026.

In stark contrast to its earlier performance, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs turned positive for the year following this investment surge. This upswing underscores a prevailing confidence in crypto-backed financial instruments despite fluctuating market conditions.
