Dusk Network: A Privacy-Focused Layer-1 Blockchain for Financial Applications

Dusk Network is a layer-1 blockchain that provides native confidential smart contracts and supports privacy for financial applications and the Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard.

Dusk Network aims to meet the needs of financial markets. Its core features include a scalable public infrastructure, direct finalization of transactions, and strong data privacy.

Dusk Network has three fundamental features: clear and final settlement of transactions, user privacy and compliance with privacy requirements, and availability without the need for approval from a trusted authority.

Utilizing an operational model called Phoenix, Dusk Network focuses on bringing privacy and anonymity to both transactions and smart contracts. The tokens distributed on Dusk Network can be built upon Zedger, a Phoenix-based hybrid privacy protection model designed especially for security tokens.

DUSK tokens can act as a utility token for initiating transactions, atomic swaps, or the deployment of smart contracts. DUSK can also be staked for consensus participation and used as a medium for value exchange within DUSK. The team plans to expand the use cases of DUSK by adding it to the on-chain governance system in the future.
