EOS Cryptocurrency to Begin Trading in Japan Amidst Significant Activity Surge

EOS network, sharing its name with the 66th largest altcoin, is encountering a significant level of activity. According to Bitquery data, the number of transactions happening on the EOS network suddenly surpassed 1 million today. As the number of transactions in the network increased, the price of the altcoin also rose.

Unable to keep up with the bull market that started in 2020 and failing to set records like other altcoins in 2021, the number of transactions on the EOS network suddenly exceeded 1 million today. The last time the EOS network celebrated a milestone was on December 6, marking its 5th year with the achievement of operating the network without interruption for 2,000 days.

Along with the increase in network activity, the price of the EOS coin, which bears the same name as the network, also increased. EOS, the 66th largest altcoin by market value, saw a rise of over 10% in the last 24 hours, reaching $0.85. However, EOS gave back some of its gains and is currently trading at $0.8359, up 7.48% over the last 24 hours.

The trading volume of the altcoin also significantly increased along with the number of transactions and its price. Current data indicates that EOS’s trading volume has risen by 40.44% in the last 24 hours to $174.74 million.
