A well-known crypto analyst has predicted that a rival to Ethereum, which has seen an increase of more than 11 times this year, will witness even more gains in 2024. The analyst alerted investors by sharing the altcoins in his portfolio.
The analyst, known as Altcoin Sherpa, claimed on social media that Solana (SOL) is showing signs of recovery against Ethereum (SOL/ETH), erasing all its losses from the bear market within a few months. He expressed strong bullish sentiment for Solana as we head into 2024, intending to hold onto his position.
In terms of SOL’s performance against the US dollar, the analyst shared a chart indicating the next area of trouble for the altcoin at $135. He also mentioned that a price around $100 could be a good entry point, considering SOL as his second-best choice.
At the time of writing, SOL had surged over 1000% from its opening price of $9.99 to trade at $119.55.
Another crypto project in the analyst’s basket is the new Layer-1 blockchain Sei (SEI), which he believes is well-positioned to continue its upward trend. He hinted that SEI could be a good bet for the future.
Altcoin Sherpa is also closely monitoring Celestia (TIA), a blockchain designed to allow everyone to launch their decentralized networks with minimal cost. He shared a chart indicating that TIA is in the midst of an uptrend within an accumulation range. The expert expressed a desire to see TIA drop below $10, considering it a definite buy and a topic to ponder for 2024.
