In a dramatic twist in the ongoing saga surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6, an anonymous entity known as CyberLeek has claimed possession of a playable version of the game’s full story mode. The alleged owner, in a statement issued on October 10 titled “The Offer,” has proposed to release this version if the market value of the CYBERLEEK token reaches $30 million.
Conditions and a Demand for Take Two Interactive
CyberLeek has also addressed the game’s publisher, Take Two Interactive, outlining conditional demands. They have suggested that physical disc distribution commitments and a formal apology from the company could prevent the leak from becoming public. Despite these claims, there is no verified evidence that the complete version indeed exists.
The CYBERLEEK token, launched on the Solana blockchain, known for its high-speed operations and low transaction costs, is currently valued at around $2.87 million, falling significantly short of the $30 million target set by the leaker.

August Marks the Start of a New Leak Wave
Reports indicate that new leaks began to surface on August 18, with CyberLeek releasing brief gameplay footage featuring GTA 6’s protagonists, Jason and Lucia. These snippets hinted at new in-game events set to feature in the eagerly anticipated release.
The leaked footage seemed to suggest access to a directly playable development build rather than stitched-together recordings. Notably, watermarks and various directions within the materials pointed towards them being used for the associated cryptocurrency’s promotion.

Rockstar Games, the developer behind the renowned Grand Theft Auto series, has confirmed the unauthorized distribution of these images, describing the event as a deeply distressing experience for the development team.

Meanwhile, Take Two Interactive has filed subpoenas against several technology companies, including Microsoft and Discord, seeking to uncover the source of the leak. This step is a critical component of its legal strategy to reveal who is responsible for and how the videos were disseminated.
October Sees Fresh Leaks
Following a few weeks of relative calm, CyberLeek released approximately 25 minutes of new gameplay footage on October 8. This material purportedly includes unseen cut scenes, first-person driving segments, and various other brief clips.
Nevertheless, there remains no independent evidence verifying CyberLeek’s actual possession of the complete story mode or a fully operational game build. Grand Theft Auto 6 is anticipated to launch on November 19 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
