Sam Altman announced today the exciting progress since the launch of GPT Store, highlighting that over 3 million specialized versions of ChatGPT have been created. The GPT Store, now in use, offers a dynamic marketplace showcasing various GPTs prepared by partners and the live community.
The store features popular and trending GPTs, including DALL-E, across categories such as writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle. Users can explore these GPTs, which are highlighted on a community leaderboard.
New and influential GPTs will be featured weekly, including products for comprehensive research synthesis, coding skill development with Khan Academy’s Code Tutor, effortless design with Canva, book discovery, and seamless learning in mathematics and science with CK-12 Flexi AI tutor.
Altman also shared plans to launch a GPT creator revenue program in the first quarter of the year, initially available to US builders. This program will reward creators based on user engagement with their GPTs, with detailed payment criteria to be shared as the launch date approaches.
Furthermore, Altman introduced ChatGPT Teams plan, catering to teams of all sizes, providing access to a private section of GPT Store for secure deployment of GPTs in workspaces. Soon, ChatGPT Enterprise customers will also access the GPT Store and have advanced admin controls for managing internal and external GPT usage in operations, ensuring confidentiality in all interactions.
