Despite the hiccup, the platform’s Emergency Council for Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta quickly intervened with a fix, allowing for the resumption of services. Post-recovery, the network’s emergency mode was deactivated, and a new protocol was introduced, mandating a 10-day waiting period for all future system updates. This measure is aimed at ensuring thorough assessment and minimizing the risks of unforeseen issues.
