Shib Army Scam Alerts, a group focused on exposing scams within the Shiba Inu community, has recently alerted token holders of the risks. The group, also known as Susbarium, emphasizes the persistence of these scammers and their sophisticated impersonation of SHIB-related sites and non-fungible token (NFT) collections.
Guidance Offered to Shield Investors
The Shiba Inu community is reminded to only engage with verified links from trusted sources. They are advised to be meticulous in verifying URLs, as scammers often make subtle changes to web addresses such as altering a dash or a dot to confuse potential victims.
Furthermore, the community is cautioned about the unauthorized TREAT token purporting to be part of the Shiba Ecosystem and the use of the Shibarium logo by unrelated tokens. Investors are warned against these fake offerings that aim to exploit the Shiba Inu brand and mislead the community.
