The launch of ChatGPT significantly increased interest in artificial intelligence (AI), prompting major platforms to expand in this field. Google’s AI chatbot, Google Bard, is an example of such expansion, with its remarkable ability to analyze trends in the cryptocurrency market. Google Bard was asked to predict the future price levels of the leading altcoin Chainlink (LINK) for the year 2024.
Chainlink’s LINK token faces a critical resistance level at $15, which it has attempted to surpass with continuous upward price movements. Experienced crypto analyst Ali Martinez highlighted that the $15 level is the major barrier before LINK can reach $20. Martinez pointed out that there are approximately 19,000 wallet addresses holding around 73.6 million LINK at this level.
Market observers believe that LINK must overcome this $15 threshold to maintain its upward momentum and potentially make a significant breakout. Despite a clear technical outlook, Google Bard was asked whether LINK’s price would rise in 2024.
Google Bard started its LINK analysis by stating that the potential bottom price could be $10. The AI chatbot’s information suggests that in 2024, LINK could trade at an average price between $14 and $18, with a possible peak at $25.
However, Google Bard emphasized that the mentioned price range is just a reasonable scenario, and it could change depending on Bitcoin‘s (BTC) price movement at the beginning of 2024. According to Google’s AI, numerous factors could influence Chainlink’s future value, with overall market sentiment playing a decisive role in price fluctuations. Chainlink’s oracle services are widely accepted in decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and various blockchain applications, which could strengthen its role in advancing DeFi and blockchain technologies. The implementation of Chainlink 2.0 and other network upgrades demonstrates the platform’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and security within the blockchain sector, potentially leading to stronger and more reliable conditions for decentralized oracle services.
