Three-Day Streak for Bitcoin ETFs

According to recent data from SoSoValue, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $174.6 million in net inflows on September 4. The funds experienced $101.15 million in inflows on September 2 and a substantial $730.87 million on September 3. This upswing brought the three-day total net inflow to a staggering $1 billion.

“Spot Bitcoin ETFs closed three trading days consecutively with positive cash flow, achieving a total net inflow of $1 billion during this period.”

BlackRock and Fidelity dominated the latest inflows, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounting for $117.38 million, about 67% of the day’s total. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) reported $57.22 million in inflows, translating to about 1,470 BTC and 718 BTC added respectively.

There were no significant changes in the net inflows or outflows for Grayscale’s GBTC and Bitcoin Mini Trust, Bitwise’s BITB fund, and the ARKB products from Ark Invest and 21Shares during this period.

Since their inception, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated a total net inflow of $55.62 billion. IBIT leads with a cumulative net inflow of $64.06 billion, while FBTC stands at $10.33 billion. Conversely, GBTC has recorded a total net outflow of $27.65 billion.

The daily trading volume for spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.95 billion on September 4, with total net assets amounting to $101.25 billion. This figure represents a decline of approximately $2.09 billion compared to the previous day.

Ethereum ETFs Thrive Over Two Days

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs also concluded their second straight trading day with net cash inflows, attracting $26.46 million on September 4. This marks an 81.3% decrease from the previous day’s $141.39 million inflow. Over the two days, the total net inflow reached $167.85 million.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) saw $57.79 million, and the Ethereum Staking ETF (ETHB) added $16.44 million in net flows. The collective inflows toward these two products amounted to $74.23 million, with Morgan Stanley’s MSSE fund receiving around $530,000.

  • Spot Bitcoin ETFs marked inflows exceeding $1 billion over three days.
  • BlackRock and Fidelity led Bitcoin inflows with substantial figures.
  • Spot Ethereum ETFs sustained positive trends, although with a dip in daily inflow.
  • IBIT maintains its top position in cumulative net inflows.
  • Ethereum saw both inflows and outflows, indicating mixed investor sentiment.

Overall, while Bitcoin ETFs capitalized on a robust streak of investor attraction, Ethereum counterparts showed more varied investor actions with inflows and notable outflows. This dynamic investment environment highlights the ongoing interest and strategic shifts in the burgeoning crypto asset market.
