Alchemy Pay Partners with Worldpay to Enhance Crypto Transactions Globally

Alchemy Pay, a Singapore-based fintech company, has announced a partnership with UK-based payment processor Worldpay. The collaboration, revealed on December 19th, will grant Alchemy Pay users access to Worldpay’s Visa and Mastercard payment services to purchase cryptocurrency assets with credit and bank cards.

As the adoption of cryptocurrency assets continues to grow, the partnership aims to facilitate investors’ transactions with ease. Alchemy’s ecosystem leader, Robert McCracken, commented on the partnership, highlighting Alchemy Pay’s enhanced position to assist partners and users worldwide in seamless cryptocurrency transactions.

Following McCracken’s remarks, Worldpay’s Crypto and Web3 president, Nabil Manji, expressed that Alchemy Pay’s mission to connect fiat currencies with the Web3 economy and promote global adoption of crypto assets aligns with Worldpay’s role in bridging the gap between traditional and crypto finance.

Founded in 2018, Alchemy stands out as a platform offering fiat to crypto asset trading services, supporting over 50 fiat currencies through Google Pay, Apple Pay, and various mobile wallets. The company has been taking significant steps in the crypto space, including the introduction of fast payment solutions for the euro and British pound, enabling transactions to occur within seconds to minutes.

Alchemy continues to navigate legal regulations, obtaining service licenses in various U.S. states, while Worldpay has been integrating with Web3 technologies, partnering with firms like Okcoin and launching new payment engines with companies such as Fireblocks and Checkout com to facilitate the fiat-to-crypto transition for traders.
