Crypto analyst PlanB forecasts Bitcoin to reach $55,000 by the upcoming halving event in April. The halving, historically associated with market surges, reduces miner rewards and is seen as a bullish event for the cryptocurrency.
PlanB suggests further short-term growth for Bitcoin, predicting a price range of $50,000 to $60,000 within the next four months. The analyst maintains a positive outlook for Bitcoin, with a belief in its potential post-halving surge.
The analyst’s long-term prediction for Bitcoin is even more optimistic, with a target of $532,000 by 2025, indicating a significant and gradual price increase that could reflect sustainable growth for the leading cryptocurrency.
According to PlanB, Bitcoin is currently in an accumulation phase and is expected to follow this with a rise in line with the Stock-to-Flow model, which has gained attention for its potential to predict price movements based on supply scarcity.
Despite recent concerns over a potential ETF rejection by Matrixport causing a market crash, renewed optimism for an ETF approval has contributed to Bitcoin’s recovery after a brief dip below $40,000. PlanB envisions exponential growth for Bitcoin in the coming decade, suggesting a tenfold increase from current levels, presenting an attractive opportunity for long-term investors.
