SUI’s recent price fluctuations between $0.73 and $0.76 have sparked interest, especially as both short-term and medium-term moving averages appear to form a support base within this range. Investors are closely watching the $0.80 mark, which stands out as a primary resistance level.
Critical Junction in Technical Outlook
Market analyst InvestorJordan has observed a breakout attempt over the downward trend line in the four-hour chart. Prices have reacted from the 100-period moving average, with $0.80 being highlighted as a significant short-term confirmation point.
InvestorJordan stresses that surpassing the $0.80 level could produce a stronger technical signal compared to simply breaking the trend line.
On the daily chart, a more balanced perspective emerges. While SUI shows signs of recovery short-term, it remains below some longer-term averages. The 100-period simple moving average is at $0.755, and the exponential moving average is around $0.784.
Support Zone and Potential Setbacks?
Support is consolidated between $0.726 and $0.735, supported by the SuperTrend indicator and the 20, 30, and 50-period averages, creating a technical buffer below current levels.
If there is a breakdown below this band, prices could test the $0.712 and $0.699 levels. A deeper pullback might see the $0.64 to $0.67 range, historically a stronger support zone. Analyst Finsends pinpoints $0.64 as a critical level within the broader technical structure.
Finsends considers the $0.75 area a missed buying opportunity, suggesting that breaking the broader downtrend could occur around $1.15.
Institutional Interest Reflected in ETF Activity
Beyond technical perspectives, institutional demand is also noteworthy. According to Glassnode, three U.S.-based spot SUI ETFs have not seen net outflows for 12 consecutive weeks, accumulating over 9.3 million SUI, indicating ongoing interest through regulated investment vehicles.
The Sui network has also advanced on the institutional front. Its integration with tZERO encompasses issuance, custody, trading, compliance, and settlement processes for regulated digital asset securities. Meanwhile, in partnership with Securitize and Neuberger, Sui Foundation is focusing on bringing tokenized, high-yield funds to Sui and other major blockchains.
Several crucial levels are in sight:
- Breaking past $0.80 could lead to the $0.823 to $0.849 range, then $0.85 and $0.95.
- The $1 mark remains a psychological barrier.
- Dipping below $0.73 might weaken short-term recovery prospects.
Mixed signals are emanating from momentum indicators as well. The daily RSI sits at 50.93, yet the MACD shows a more positive outlook. Meanwhile, the weekly chart’s Ichimoku structure and longer-term averages suggest continued caution among traders.
